Monika Kus-Picco will participate in this year's edition of the Venice Biennale, where she will present her work Blood Cells-Vessels (2022), 200x500cm at Palazzo Bembo. Her work is part of her series of the same title, formally evocative of a human's bloodstream and veins. In Blood Cells-Vessels Monika Kus-Picco works with Congo red, an organic compound that is primarily used in histology, such as to display the rare disease Amyloidosis.
